このアプリは、仏像彫刻の概要および準備について作成しています。

 

　仏像彫刻は、自由な形で表現するのと違い、過去からある仏様を寸分違わず彫刻する事が重要です。「仏様を彫るのでは無く、仏様を彫り出す。」という事です。

　初めは誰でも不安です。難しく考えなくても、ひたすら彫り続けて行けばあなたのものになります。

この趣味は、何かに没頭したい、世間を忘れて無心になりたい、と思っている方にはぴったりです。

　また、仏像に関わるからといって宗教に支配されるものではありませんので仏像彫刻の

制作を自由に楽しみましょう。 

 　１３００年の歴史の重み、そして仏像彫刻という優れた技術、この素晴らしい文化を堪能できます。

　私は、この伝統をいつまでも大切にし、若い方に引き継いでもらいたいと思っています。

 

　このアプリのお使い方ですが、まず最初に仏像知識をご覧になって下さい。

参考書籍もありますので書店で実際に手に取って見られたら良いかと思います。

To be involved with the Buddha does not mean being governed

by any religion, so let us freely enjoy Buddha sculpture. 　

 

This application is an overview and preparation for understanding Buddha sculpture in Nara City.

To use this app, please first take a look at the information about Buddha statues.

 

There are also references listed, and obtaining those, if you have a chance would be very useful.

 

Nara Engineering Arts Museum, which exhibits Nara crafts,

is also introduced. 

 

Finally, please check out  the examples of the Buddha sculpture although it is novice's work.

 

As a sequel to this app, an application about the Buddha sculpting process
